Join the Warwick Historical Society at a viewing of the Eleven Ladies of Warwick, the newest historic exhibit on display in three locations: the WHS Headquarters, A.W. Buckbee Center, 2 Colonial Avenue, the Ketchum House, 26 Church Street, and the upstairs museum rooms of Baird’s Tavern, 103 Main Street on Saturday, August 19 from 12 to 3 pm.
The Eleven Ladies of Warwick is a look at art and fashion from 1760-1960, with an emphasis on some prominent women who resided in or visited Warwick through the centuries.
This exhibit has a limited viewing until September.
Thank you to the Lewis/Ford family for loaning the WHS the elegant portrait of Mrs. Elizabeth “Blee” Sanford Lewis VanLeer painted by Franklin C. Watkins, on display in the Buckbee Center.
