WHS 119th Birthday Celebration

🎉 Celebrate 119 Years of Warwick’s History with the WHS! 🎉

Join us on Sunday, April 6th from 1 PM to 4 PM as the Warwick Historical Society celebrates its 119th Year! Step into the past as several of our historic properties open their doors to the public, with volunteer docents on hand to share captivating stories about our amazing buildings. If you have ever thought about joining, this is the perfect opportunity for an in-depth look!

Have you ever wanted to step inside The Meeting House, visit Warwick’s oldest residence, The Shingle House, or tour the beautifully recreated Ketchum House? Now is your chance! Docents will be on hand at each location to share folklore, stories and historical insights about these remarkable sites.

Start your journey at the A.W. Buckbee Events Center (2 Colonial Avenue), where guests can pick up maps of the open properties, enjoy complimentary refreshments, and meet members of the Society’s Board and staff. Learn about volunteer opportunities, membership, and the important work of preserving Warwick’s history for future generations.

Enjoy light refreshments, explore our history, and be part of this special milestone. FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC -everyone is welcome to join the festivities. 🎂
