WHS Members Mixer at Baird's Tavern

Take a break from the cold and step into an evening of mixing it up with other history buffs and Warwick enthusiasts at the WHS’s Members Mixer on Friday, Feb. 11 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Baird’s Tavern, 103 Main Street, Warwick. Tour through the upstairs of the historic building, the home of Francis and Esther Baird furnished in Colonial America pieces, and view the “Nineteenth Century Splendor” exhibit, a display of a turn-of-the-century party. See the attic where the militia practiced their military formations in secret to avoid detection. Local historians will be on site telling tales of Warwick’s past. WHS Members receive $2 off their drinks during the event. Reservations are not required. Not a WHS member? Attend the Members Mixer and learn more about becoming a steward of local history. Call 845-986-3236 for more information.
